Project Based Learning for I std

It is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging and complex question, problem or challenge.

The students of class I had done PBL for English, Lesson -1 BHIMA’S FARM from October 17, 2016 to October 21, 2016.

How do children involve in PBL

We made the students to sit and actively participate in the project that is related to the lesson by making the farm with farm animals like the students drawn the picture of farm animals and coloured it like cow, hen dog, sheep and horse. They learnt more when they did it practically.

Knowledge Gained:

New vocabulary, farm animals and their sounds and the names of their young ones, seed sapling.

Content Coverage:

Children learnt, how does a farm looks like….

At the end of the lesson children can answer the above question that is related to the farm house, trees, farm animals and their young ones, uses of farm animals, bullock cart, farm fields, etc.

It was an overwhelming experience for the kids.
