2nd Intra School Chess Tournament

Participating in chess tournament on 19th July 2025 (Saturday) allows players to test their skills against diverse opponents, learn from different playing styles, and gain valuable experience.

• Venue: Sri Krish International School Auditorium, Kovur
• Date: 19-07-25 (Saturday)
• Time Control: 25 mins (No increment)
• Rounds: Total number of rounds will be informed later.

Entry Fee: ₹350 only

• Entry fee must be paid online through school website.

Additional Information

• Transport: Players are requested to arrange their own transportation. The school will not provide any transport facilities.
• KG Students: All participants from the KG category will receive a medal.
• Participation Certificate: All participants will receive a certificate of participation.

Tournament Regulations:

1. 1. Entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
   2. Time control: 25 minutes, no increment.
   3. Latest system of play: The latest FIDE rules in force shall apply and the Swiss system will be followed.
   4. Tie Break: Buchholz tie-break system will be applied. In case of tie, prize will not be shared.
   5. Chief Arbiter’s decision is final.
   6. Spot entries are not allowed during tournament.
   7. Players must bring their own chess set.
   8. Players can carry own breakfast, snacks, lunch etc.
   9. Players must report by 8:00 AM at the school campus.
   10. Dress code: Regular school uniform
   11. Things not to carry:

         • Any type of watch (smart & analog)
         • Any other electronic device

Categories

• Category 1: Pre-primary – KG to 2nd Standard
• Category 2: Primary – 3rd to 5th Standard
• Category 3: Middle School – 6th to 8th Standard
• Category 4: High School – 9th to 12th Standard

Trophies:

• Boys & Girls Top 5 – Trophies for each category
• 6th to 10th – Medals

Schedule:

• Inauguration Ceremony: 9:00 AM
• 1st Round Starts: 9:30 AM
• Prize Distribution: 5:30 PM

Note: Each category’s top 3 players will be selected for the upcoming inter-school competition.
